Ask members to leave a Google review after they review your studio

Add your Google Business Profile review link to Clovo so eligible members can copy the review they have written for your studio and continue to Google.
Clovo reviews and Google reviews are separate. A member first submits their review in Clovo. When Google review requests are enabled, Clovo then offers to copy the review text and open your Google review link. The member still pastes and submits the review on Google themselves.
Before you start
You need the review link for your studio’s Google Business Profile. If you need to find or create it, follow Google’s instructions for sharing a review link.
Turn on Google review requests
-
Open Reviews in Clovo Studio.
-
On the Reviews tab, turn Reviews on if it is not already enabled. Members need to be able to submit a Clovo review before they can be offered the Google follow-up.
-
Select Settings.
-
Under Google reviews, turn on Ask users to leave a review on Google as well as Clovo?.
-
Paste your Google Business Profile review link into Google review link. Use the complete link, beginning with
http://orhttps://. -
Select Save settings.
The Google follow-up is now available after a member successfully submits a new Clovo review. Clovo does not send a separate email or push notification for this step.
What members see
When a member is eligible to review your studio, Clovo can show a review prompt after they have attended enough classes. They can select Leave a review from the prompt, or open their account settings and choose Review this studio.
They then:
- Choose a star rating.
- Add a Title and answer What was it like?.
- Check or change their Public display name.
- Select Send review.
After the Clovo review is sent, the member sees their submitted review with a Google review prompt over it. The question is worded slightly differently between iOS and Android, but the actions are the same.
The member can choose:
- Copy and go to Google Reviews — Clovo copies the review text to the clipboard and opens the Google review link you saved. The member pastes the text into Google and submits it there.
- Not now — closes the prompt without submitting a Google review.
- Learn how to get a Google review link — opens Google’s instructions for creating or finding a review link.
The Clovo review is still subject to your normal review process. It remains private until you choose whether to publish it from Reviews in Clovo Studio, and members cannot edit it after sending.
If the Google prompt does not appear
Check these settings before asking the member to submit another review:
- Reviews is switched on in the Reviews tab.
- Ask users to leave a review on Google as well as Clovo? is switched on under Reviews → Settings.
- A complete Google review link is present in Google review link, and you selected Save settings.
The Google prompt appears after a successful Clovo review submission. It does not appear for a member who is not yet eligible to review, or when the Google review link has not been saved.
